TREE WITH A STORY
I have a maple tree in my backyard and it’s name is Oakey. I love to climb up the branches and look through the leaves. I like to sit on the strong branches sometimes when my sister and me play pirates and I like to climb to see other boats. Sometimes I like to swing bats and stuff up into Oakey. That is my favorite tree that I have and he is the best tree ever.

TREE WITH A STORY
It all began approximately 15 years ago at a family barbecue at my house. My father had eaten a peach and then declared that he was planting the pit and that I’d soon have my own peach tree!! My family and I were quite amused and proceeded to tease him. He ignored all of this and went about to find a spot. He planted it in the front of my home. Without any nurturing it grew. He lived long enough to see it grow to 6 ft and if he could see it now it is quite large and bears lots of fruit. This is indeed a special tree to us and it warms our hearts every time we look at it............ |
