Caution on roads - flash freeze expected

The Department of Public Works has been out treating the roads in anticipation of a drop in temperature at 8 a.m. that could cause a flash freeze on the roads in Lynnfield and the region.
With the heavy rain, the effectiveness of the road treatment may be lessened and the freezing could be extreme later this morning.
If you must drive, please use great caution.
