Coyote with rabies found in Lynnbrook Road area

A rabid coyote found on Lynnbrook Road was captured and tested positive for rabies. The animal; was destroyed, and had been previously spotted in nearby Lynn neighborhoods. An attached announcement and fact sheet provides additional information. Anyone who believes her or she may have come in contact with this coyote should contact the Mass. Department of Public Health at 617-983-6800. Residents should also take precautions if they believe a pet may have come in contact with this coyote. Contact Lynnfield Animal Control at 781-983-1804.
