Chair Dalton called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m.
Town Administrator Robert Dolan outlined unsafe building conditions at 170 Moulton Drive following reports by Police Captain Christopher DeCarlo and Building Inspector Joseph O’Callaghan. Town Counsel Thomas Mullen prescribed the course of action to be taken under Massachusetts law to allow the Town to make the building secure.
MOTION by Mr. Crawford, duly seconded by Mr. Connell: I move, pursuant to G.L. c. 143, s. 7, that in light of evidence that the building at 170 Moulton Drive has become unused, uninhabited or abandoned and is open to the weather, and that the public safety requires that it be made secure forthwith, the Building Inspector be ordered to immediately enter upon the said premises with such workmen and assistants as may be necessary and cause such structure to be made safe and secure.

MOTION by Mr. Crawford, duly seconded by Mr. Connell: I move that the Board vote to adjourn.
