Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

Please don't throw away your hazardous waste. Many common household products are toxic and can be harmful to health and the environment.  

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) has a program across the State that facilitates the hosting of local Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Days to handle these chemicals, materials and products with care, and to recycle or dispose of them responsibly.  

In Lynnfield, there is typically a day in November when we host the HHW Day.  The public is invited to use this day, or any of the other days in other communities, to rid themselves of hazardous materials responsibly.  Below is the current calendar of events and details about what can be brought as HHW.
