Campaign Finance Reports

The campaign finance law, M.G.L C.55, requires all elected officials and committees to file various campaign finance reports with the Town Clerk. Candidates and committees are responsible for the legality, validity, completeness and accuracy of their reports.  The campaign finance law requires the OCPF director, after referral by a local election official, to assess a civil penalty for any late filed report. The candidate or Treasurer may be personally liable for a $25 per day late fine for each day a report is late.
