On November 29, the Lynnfield 2040 project team provided a forum for residents to share their thoughts on the visioning plan – Lynnfield 2040: Shaping Our Future Today.

The Planning Board, along with consultant partner Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), reviewed the goals of the visioning plan project, and shared findings from community engagement activities.

The Visioning Plan is a community-driven process to shape how Lynnfield should look, feel and operate as a community over the next 10 to 20 years. Ultimately, it should provide a strategic framework for future public decision-making and investments.

This Visioning Plan effort began in February 2023. Work began with capturing and analyzing existing conditions and engaging in extensive community outreach to receive input from residents and stakeholders for their views and desires for Lynnfield’s future.

From the project’s inception, the team has maintained a comprehensive Visioning Plan webpage. For further details, please visit the Project Webpage here.
