The Town of Lynnfield welcomes Lisa DeMeo as its new Town Engineer. Lisa brings a much-credentialed background to the Town and is already busy with critical ongoing and new engineering projects.

Lisa is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, a Qualified MA Tree Warden, and a recipient of the 2021 Boston Society of Civil Engineers Government Civil Engineer of the Year Award. Her broad municipal experience has taken her from Tewksbury to Lowell to Salisbury and now to Lynnfield.

After graduating from Haverhill High School, she obtained her Associates Degree in Engineering Sciences (Northern Essex Community College), Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (University of Lowell), MBA (UMass Lowell), Masters Certificate in Project Management (Stevens Institute), and a Masters Certificate in Public Administration (Suffolk University).

Lisa grew up in Haverhill, where she raised her family, and still lives in the same neighborhood. Lisa’s proudest accomplishments are her three children, who have followed her in service to the public. Her children are a Detective for the MA State Police, a Project Manager for the IRS, and a Forensic Lab Technician at the State Police Crime Lab.
