Chair Connell called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Recommendations on warrant articles 4 and 5
ARTICLE 4. FY 23 transfers.
MOTION by Mr. Crawford, duly seconded by Mr. Dalton: I move that the Board vote to recommend Article 4 with the amounts indicated in the Town Meeting Handout. Vote was unanimous.
ARTICLE 5. Overdue bills
MOTION by Mr. Crawford, duly seconded by Mr. Dalton: I move that the Board vote to recommend Article 5 with the amounts indicated in the Town Meeting Handout. Vote was unanimous.
Review of other warrant articles if necessary
No additional action is needed.
New mileage rate for employees using personal vehicles on Town business
The IRS had made a mid-year adjustment in the standard mileage deduction, which the Board has followed in adopting a reimbursement rate for employees using personal vehicles for Town business.
MOTION by Mr. Crawford, duly seconded by Mr. Dalton I move that the Board adopt 65.5 cents per mile as the reimbursement rate for Town employees using personal vehicles on Town business. Vote was unanimous.
Use of Facilities requests
a. South Fire, June 11, LHS band and chorus car wash
MOTION by Mr. Crawford, duly seconded by Mr. Dalton imposed by the Police Chief and Public Works Director. Vote was unanimous.
MOTION by Mr. Crawford, duly seconded by Mr. Dalton I move that the Board remain in session until the adjournment of town meeting. Vote was unanimous.
The Board went into recess at 6:05 p.m. and did not take up any other business during town meeting.
