Chair Crawford called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. He stated that the meeting is being recorded for cable television transmission. He asked those in attendance to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Use of Facilities applications
• South Fire: Field Hockey Team Car Wash, August 28
• South Fire: Girls Soccer Team Car Wash, September 18
• Common: Library event September 12
• Pillings Pond Road block party, September 10
MOTION by Mr. Connell, duly seconded by Mr. Dalton I move that the Board vote to approve the applications of use of Town facilities subject to any restrictions requested by the Public Works Director and Chief of Police. Vote was unanimous.
6:05 p.m. Public hearing: Application for a change of license classification from seasonal wine and malt restaurant license to annual wine and malt restaurant license by Sagamore Golf, Inc., 1287 Main Street, Lynnfield MA
Assistant Town Administrator Robert Curtin said that the management of the golf course phoned today to say they are withdrawing this application.
Since the lone remaining business before the Board was a public hearing advertised and posted for 6:15 p.m., Chair Crawford declared the Board in recess until that time. The meeting resumed at 6:15 p.m.
6:15 pm. Application for Change of LLC Managers/Change of LLC Membership Interest Amendment Transfer for the annual all-alcohol restaurant license by Burtons Grill of Lynnfield, dba Burtons Grill, 1355 Market Street
Chair Crawford declared the public hearing open.
Attorney John Mooradian of Demakis Law Offices said this change of ownership interest and LLC manager affects all 11 Massachusetts locations and has been reviewed by the state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. There will be no changes to the local operation.
No other person wishing to be heard, Chair Crawford declared the public hearing closed.
MOTION by Mr. Connell, duly seconded by Mr. Dalton I move that the Board vote to approve the application for Change of LLC Managers/Change of LLC Membership Interest Amendment Transfer for the annual all-alcohol restaurant license by Burtons Grill of Lynnfield, dba Burtons Grill, 1355 Market Street. Vote was unanimous.
MOTION by Mr. Connell, duly seconded by Mr. Dalton: I move that the Board vote to adjourn. Vote was unanimous.
The Board adjourned at 6:18 p.m.
