Notice: Pillings Pond Treatment - July 30, 2018

Pillings Pond is to be treated Monday, July 30, 2018. These waters are routinely treated from time to time in order to control the growth of nuisance aquatic vegetation.

Please note that swimming is never an allowed use on Pillings Pond. Additionally, do not use the water for the following purpose(s) until the date noted below:

  • Drinking and cooking:  August 2, 2018
  • Boating and fishing:  July 31, 2018
  • Watering of livestock:  August 2, 2018
  • Irrigation:  August 4, 2018

This chemical treatment is being conducted pursuant to a permit issued by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (Mass DEP) and an Order of Conditions issued by the Lynnfeild Conservation Commission. DEP File #209-0380.
