Culvert Work at Beaver Dam Brook temporarily delayed

The culvert work at Beaver Dam Brook has been halted until the water level in the brook recedes.

Removal of the Beaver Dam Brook culvert at the MBTA railroad bed was slated to begin the week of August 20. The work is proposed to help alleviate flooding for the surrounding neighborhoods. Brush and tree removal along the MBTA railroad bed from the Episcopal Church to Reedy Meadow will be followed by construction at the site. Work should last approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Residents having further questions are asked to call Town Engineer Charlie Richter at (781) 334-9503.
