Lynnfield Tree “Story Walk” on the Town Common

An interactive presentation of our Common’s native trees
Common photo - Story Walk

Story Walk is a virtual or walking tour with a brief description of twelve different trees on our Lynnfield Town Common.

Each tree has an immediate and future environmental impact and plays a unique role in our town history, whether young or old. We urge you to take a closer look at the trees' differences and appreciate them.

To follow the walking tour sequentially, please begin near the parking lot entrance to Town Hall at 55 Summer Street.  The end of the tour is near the Library, which is across the street.

About the Lynnfield Tree Committee:

The Lynnfield Tree Committee, a subcommittee of the Conservation Commission, is comprised of town residents who are interested in volunteering to provide stewardship, education and advocacy to promote and foster an appreciation for our town's natural tree resources.

Our goals include the protection and restoration of Lynnfield's natural tree resources, which provide shade and ornamentation to our streets, create habitats for wildlife, enhance property values and provide natural privacy.
