Pond to be treated to control growth of nuisance aquatic vegetation and algae

Pillings Pond will be chemically treated on Thursday, August 12, 2021. These waters are routinely treated from time to time to control the growth of nuisance aquatic vegetation, and algae.

Please note that swimming is never an allowed use at Pillings Pond.

Do not use the water for the following purpose(s) until the dates noted below:

Drinking and cooking:  No restrictions

Boating, and fishing:  No restrictions

Livestock/Domestic Animal Consumption:  No restrictions

Irrigation to lawn, landscape ornamentals:  No restrictions

Irrigation to food crops/newly seeded lawn:  No restrictions
