Lynnfield Planning & Conservation has begun updating its Conservation lands’ signage. The DPW is replacing the outdated Conservation land “Rules and Regulations” signs, which prohibit certain activities on designated properties. The DPW is also replacing or installing several new signs that mark the entrances to Conservation lands. Some of these signs include interesting facts and historical information about the properties.

In 2018, Lynnfield High School Senior Lucy Madden completed her Girl Scout Gold Award project, which, in addition to parking and trail markers, identified the lack of adequate signage as a primary impediment to access by the public.
