Please keep fall leaves out of streets and away from wetlands.

Even natural leaves can pollute our stormwaters!
Be a leaf hero flier

A seasonal reminder - - please don’t blow or rake leaves, grass clippings, brush or tree branches into the street. They actually leach nutrients into stormwater runoff and contribute to pollution in our waters.

Leaf litter can also plug storm drains and increase flooding issues.

Instead, mulch or compost yard waste away from wetlands, or dispose of it downtown at the DPW recycling center.
