Steve Fantone leads first community walk on Lynnfield Woodlot
Loop trail is latest in Fantone's walks in Conservation properties

On Saturday, January 27, Steve Fantone led a nature walk on the newly opened Lynnfield Woodlot. The property, formally known as Richardson Green, was recently opened by the new owner - Greenbelt | Essex County's Land Trust. The Lynnfield Conservation Commission holds a Conservation Restriction on this property, ensuring that it will remain as undeveloped open space in pertetuity.
Fantone is a member of the Open Space & Recreation Working Group, appointed by the select Board to execute the Town's 2020 Open Space Plan & Recreation Plan's Action Plan. A key part of that plan includes increasing public awareness and access to the town's conservation areas. Fantone routinely organizes these walks which are always open to the public.
