Storm drain? Sewer grate? Let’s keep them clear of leaves and debris

This time each year piles of Fall leaves wash down the street and pile up at storm drains, or sewer grates. The run-off of this water eventually makes its way to our streams, rivers and the oceans.

Let’s all do our part and clear the grates in the streets in front of our homes, or anywhere else on our individual properties, so that the stormwater can cleanly discharge to our town's stormwater system. It may surprise you to know that there are 1,725 of these storm drains in our town!
