Lynnfield Rotary kicks off its first summer concert on the Common this Wednesday from 6 – 8pm. During the concert, the Tree Committee will celebrate Lynnfield’s 10 consecutive years of Tree City USA status, as recognized by the National Arbor Day Foundation.

The Tree Committee will have a fun activities booth at this first concert. Concertgoers will be able to enter a contest to win the grand prize – a beautiful pink dogwood tree! The winner will be announced during the concert.

“Our Tree Wheel is ready to spin with prizes, including trees for all participants”, Tree Committee Chairwoman Jane Bandini stated. “Visit our booth to learn about our native pollinators; Pet-A-Bee and other charming insects, and to assemble and decorate a mason bee house to bring home.” Fliers with information about important pollinators and other handouts will be available. An arborist from SavATree will be present to answer tree-related questions.
