“A Vision for Willis Woods” community forum is presented

A highly successful community forum regarding “A Vision for Willis Woods” was held November 18, 2021. “A Vision for Willis Woods” is an exciting new open space and recreation opportunity at the intersection of four communities; Lynnfield, Middleton, North Reading and Peabody.

Ella Wise, Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) coordinator for this project, introduced the overall “Vision”, followed by presentations from planners from the four participating communities who summarized the specific benefits of their towns’ participation in this project. Representatives from two additional partners, Ipswich River Watershed Association and Greenbelt Essex County Land Trust, also summarized the regional benefits of this effort.
